We have been buying marbled rye at the bakery but it is getting expencive and hard to get so we are going to give your recipe a try this week. Really hoping it works out as our whole family loves the bread.
Thanx

I had never heard of MARBLE RYE until today. I googled it and I WANT some. I am crazy about baking and especially crazy about making bread. I am off to the shop now to buy some rye flour and I am going to have a shot at making SOURDOUGH MARBLE RYE.
I developed my own autentic sourdough culture. It is so easy and so much fun and the bread is so divine.I know it will work. I will keep you posted.
thank you so much for your info.

I doubled the light rye and added carraway seed, then I rolled out the dough into long cords and braided it together. It is so beautiful. Can't wait to give away the loaves.
